Established in the 1500s, The Bell has been run by the same family since 1967. Quirky yet traditional, this historic inn is located at the heart of the beautiful village of Castle Hedingham.
Pet Friendly Pub
The Bell offers a warm welcome to dogs both inside and outside. Bowls and blankets are available by request - we even keep a jar of doggy treats on the counter for all good boys and girls. There is a large hop garden to the rear of the pub, perfect for stretching legs, plus a wealth of local footpaths worth exploring.
With an extensive patio to enjoy in the summer and warm log fires in the winter, The Bell provides a perfect destination for everyone and their dog.

Our menu features a combination of pub favourites - unpretentious home-cooked food and delicious specials from the Turkish Kitchen. We offer Mediterranean barbecued fish throughout the year (Wed eves) and authentic Turkish pizzas from the wood-fired oven during the summer months (Thur-Sat eves).
